The Astrophysics Group at the University of Leeds hosts one of the largest groups in the UK dedicated to star formation, with a wide range in expertise, covering both observations and theory. Observational and theoretical programs exist and current research topics are Active Galaxies and Starbursts, Cosmology and Intergalactic Matter, Discs around Young and Evolved Stars, Molecular Astrophysics, Planetary Rings, Star and Planet Formation, Stellar Winds and Galactic Superwinds.
Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España (Isdefe) is a state-owned consulting and engineering company, based in Madrid, that provides technical services for the Spanish General Administration and national and international public organisations. In particular, Isdefe is currently running a frame contract to provide industrial support to ESA at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Madrid, and amongst other activities, has personnel providing archival support and development at ESAC.
